Hosted in Myrtle Beach, SC, the World Am, as it is commonly known, is the largest amateur golf event on the globe; attracting over 3,000 golfers of all skill levels from all 50 states and 25 international countries.
The tournament consists of four days (18 holes per day) of individual stroke play golf (net). Players are assigned to and compete within a flight based upon gender, age and handicap index. In addition, all flight winners and ties advance to a 5th round, 18-hole "Flight Winners Playoff" to determine World Champion.
In addition to golf, the event features four nights of the World's Largest 19th Hole. Players and guests enjoy open bar, food, entertainment, and an interactive golf expo spread across the entire Myrtle Beach Convention Center.
