World Am Live Entertainment Set
From Caribbean music and top 40 hits to last year’s most popular band, the nightly entertainment lineup for the World’s Largest 19th Hole has been solidified.
Three new bands will grace the World Am Live stage in 2009, joining last year’s favorite act, The Tim Clark band.
Playing music from the 1970s through today’s biggest hits, The Tim Clark band has grown into one of the popular bands in the Southeast, and it will open the festivities at World Am Live Monday night. The Tim Clark band was a runaway hit at last year’s tournament.
Tuesday night, the first new band will bring its unique sound to the stage. A three-piece band, Island Trio plays a wide variety of music which expands from traditional calypso, beach and reggae, to rock and roll. So find your loudest Hawaiian shirt, get yourself a tropical frozen drink, and get ready to enjoy the exciting sounds of The Island Trio.
The East Coast Party Band will bring its versatile act to World Am Live on Wednesday night. The group has six dynamic lead vocalists, a well-versed horn section and a fantastic rhythm section that has played together for twenty plus years. Musical styles include Carolina Beach Music, Soul Music, Fifties music, a sensual array of ballads and classic Rock and Roll.
On Thursday night, Plane Jane will bring a show that is anything but bland to the World Am. An eight-piece ensemble that plays hits from the sixties to the present, Plane Jane is built to keep the crowd on its feet, dancing to electrified funk tunes that are punctuated with swinging horn section solos, hip-hop, funk, shag and disco songs, and rock and roll favorites from every era. Plane Jane has six vocalists, each with a distinctive style, who harmonize to form a trademark vocal sound over the driving rhythm section, while three multi-instrumentalists rev up the audience.
