You’ve come to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for the great golf courses and camaraderie of the World’s #1 Amateur golf tournament, but you may want even more. Before and after the event, there are several tournaments that cater to the World Am participant. Here you will find a list of all golf events surrounding the World Am. This year’s Pre-World Am Skins Match has been moved to The “Gambler”, Myrtle Beach National Kings North golf course on Saturday, the 24th of Aug 2013. This is one of the premiere courses in Myrtle Beach. Tee Times start at 9:00am and the price of the event will be $65 to play which includes: golf, cart, range balls, and prizes. The course has asked for the final payment two-weeks in advance, so all payments are due on 12 Aug 2013, by mail or online. Register online at http://www.floridangt.com/2013-pre-world-am-event.html. The link provides registration information to pay online using PayPal, or if you choose, the address to mail the entry fee. Please bring Cash if you want to participate in the (optional) Skins games. The skins games are $10 each for Gross and Net Skins, CTP and Top 3 Low Net Front & Back ($40 to enter all of the skins games). Keeping with the tradition, there will be a separate Par-3 Challenge for a FREE Entry into the 2014 World-Am, and the price will be determined based on the amount of players that sign up. Please sign up early this year to secure your spot.

4th Annual World Am Hackers with Cash 2-Person Best Ball event at True Blue Plantation, Sunday, August 25th 2013. This is one of the premiere courses in Myrtle Beach. The event is a Net 2-Person Best Ball Competition. Tee Times start at 8:00am (Shotgun or Tee Time Dual Nine Start, based on the number of players that sign up). The price of the event will be $95 to play which includes: Golf, Cart, Range Balls, $10 Gift Card for Pro Shop, Two Beer or Soda Tickets for on course use, Lunch, Long Drive Prizes, Top 3 Trophies, More Prizes, and “Gambler” Raffle. Your $70.00 entry fee will include your greens fees, cart with GPS and electronic scoring, range balls, closest-to-the-flag on ALL Par 3′s, Low Net and Gross Score for Ladies, Men under 50 and Men over 50 (the same person cannot win both). I have included a spot on the registration page to request playing in the same group with other players. We will also have Skins games for both Net and Gross scores with an entry fee of $10 each per player.

Welcome to the website for the 12th Annual Friday After the World Am! Last year we had our 1st Hole-in-one!
This year’s event will be returning to Legends-Moorland where last year we had a full field (140), so register early to avoid missing out. As always, if you register to play and make the finals of the World Am you will receive a FULL REFUND. Spots are going fast, the website has been up a week and we have 35 entries so far!
The entry fee is $70 with OPTIONAL Net & Gross Skins games at $10 each. Your World Am handicap will be used. If you are not in the World Am, we will need to be able to confirm your handicap. Your entry fee includes greens fee, shared cart, buffet breakfast, lunch, 2 drinks on the course, closest-to-the-flag on ALL Par 3′s (we had a hole-in-one last year), LOW NET/LOW GROSS (the same person cannot win gross & net) for women, men under 50, over 50, and over 65. Once again, there will be a maximum handicap of 18 for men and 20 for women. As last year, $2 of each entry fee will be donated to Folds of Honor for Patriots Day http://www.foldsofhonor.org.
We will be holding our annual raffle and this years charity will again be Birdies for the Brave. Raffle tickets will be $5 each with entry to the 2014 World Am, 2014 Mesquite Am, and possibly other events as GRAND Prizes. We have already secured nearly 60 items for the raffle including golf bags, putters, caps, towels, etc. If you have something you wish to donate, please bring it to the event. We will try to speed up the scoring process as well.
When registering, please indicate if you would like to be paired with other players in the space indicated. We can, also, accept credit card payment through PayPal, however there will be a $4 fee added for their service fee.
